Comparing The Film And Film Monkey's Paw
The story and film “Monkey’s Paw” is about three wishes given to the White family. The family has all they ever wanted until the son, Herbert, has the idea to wish for 200 pounds to pay off their house. When Mr. White wishes for it, they receive it, but lose something more significant. They are later informed that their son, Herbert, has died in a machinery accident. Mrs. White then thinks to wish him back to life which results in a mysterious creature at their front door. Fearfully, Mr White finds the monkey paw and makes a wish that changes everything.
The film and the book are both very alike. In both, the son dies and it drives Mrs. White crazy. She wishes for him back and is sure it is her son knocking on the door. Mr. White, in both,
