Comparison of Getting Driver License Between In U.S. and In China
All we know that almost every American people knows how to drive car and has driver license. Also, driver license already became a document as important as ID in US. However, which probably we don't know is driving is also becoming more and more important now in China. So what is difference between US and China for getting driver license? The first difference is driving school. Even though every state's law is different, many states allow people needn't take driving class in the school before they take driving test. But in China, people have to go to driving school first and then they can take driving test no matter which province you live. In addition to this, the American driving school usually is short period and let learner do more practice on the road because it is automatic vehicle that coach teaches and what it needs to let people pass the driving test is a good and safe driving habits but not excellent driving ability. But Chinese driving school is the opposite, people must to spend two months or more to learn theory and several driving abilities like hill start, unilateral bridge, side of the parking etc. What's more, it is manual vehicle they use. Another distinction is driving test. American driving test is divided into two parts——writing test and road test. Chinese driving test including these but they have more such as driving ability test before road test and night driving test. Almost all of parts is not similar except writing test. And the biggest difference is that American test have no testing vehicle, people need bring a car to take road test. Chinese test have a uniform manual testing vehicle, so examinee doesn't need bring car. In the new Chinese driving ability test of 2013, there are many test instrument in the testing vehicle to mark for examinee. So, to a certain extent that Chinese driving test is harder to pass than American driving test. Having said all this, did you find out something? In fact, the real difference is concept. Even though there are some similarities between both cultures they always have had very big differences that stem from their Asian roots. With there being more differences, the similarities that both cultures share are how both have strong family values.
