Winston Churchill said, “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm” (Top). Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill, and Franklin D Roosevelt where all leaders during WWII. These leaders were strong leaders and had some big challenges. Not all of them we good guys or heroes but there we two that were good during their time in office. Churchill was taken prisoner when doing a news report on the war in South Africa. The Boers had taken him. Boers are descendants of the dutch. They settled in South Africa (Boer). He escaped and wrote a book called “London to Ladysmith”(Winston). When some countries announced war, Churchill feared he would be in the war. Churchill was correct. On August 4, 1914. Franklin Attended law at Columbia University. Theodore Roosevelt is the fifth cousin of Franklin D Roosevelt (Bausum 141).Franklin married his wife at twenty and she was eighteen. They got married in 1905. Eleanor and Franklin were cousins.Eleanor was given off by her uncle Theodore Roosevelt (142). Wilson made Franklin Assistant secretary of the Navy (Franklin). Franklin D Roosevelt met Huge challenges. Franklin was known for the “Hundred Day”. Franklin helped out banks in his first hundred days in office and help people get jobs and signed “The New Deal it was a bill (FDR). Franklin recovered the U.S after the Great depression
