Both give the person something to do, whether they’re bored, having the blues, or in a cuddly mood. Once the person gets all cozy and snug, takes out their book or flips open their laptop, they might notice that in both cases the plot of the story stays the…

Imagine the fierce red eyes of a weasel-like creature following your every move. This grizzled furred omnivore is someone you shouldn’t mess with, especially if it’s Rikki Tikki Tavi. Rikki Tikki Tavi, by Rudyard Kipling, is a story about Rikki Tikki, a young, feisty mongoose, who comes wandering into a bungalow in India, which he then runs into some inferious beasts in the garden, Nag and Nagaina, a pair of 5-foot long King Cobras. Likewise, it leads RIkki TIkki into warding off the 2 from the garden behind the bungalow, even if it leads to death. Although Rikki Tikki seems like a hero for the creatures dwelling in the garden, he might not seem as thorough and gallant as you might think at a first glance. Rikki Tikki´s shows many character…

There are many similarities between the movie and the novel versions of T.K.A.M., dealing with characters, plot, setting, and theme. One similarity is the mystery behind Boo Radley. In both versions, Boo was considered a crazy guy who lived in a scary house. He was also exposed in both versions as a Good Samaritan when. First, he put a blanket around Scout when Miss Maudie’s house burned down, and second, when he saved Scout and Jem from Bob Ewell. Another similarity is the stories of the witnesses during Tom Robinson’s trial. In both versions, the Ewells maintained that Tom had beaten and raped Mayella, while Tom said that Mayella tried to take advantage of him. Another similarity is Tom’s crippled left hand. In the book and the film, he got it cut off in a cotton gin when he was thirteen. Another similarity is that the story takes place in Maycomb, Alabama. One theme that was consistent throughout the book and film versions was family is what keeps us together. Rikki Tikki is a brave character in this story. In one example, Rikki said to Nag, “Do you think it is right for you to eat fledglings out of a nest?”(para 25). Rikki Tikki stands up for his friend Darzee to let Nag know that he made a bad choice. Darzee now knows that Rikki is a good friend that will never let him down. For instance “Rikki-Tikki felt his eyes growing red and hot.” (para 31). This implies Rikki was furious at Nagaina because she dodged his bite and Rikki only got her tail. Rikki is brave when it comes to fighting an enemy, but his anger also comes out in a fight with a rival. Rikki Tikki is courageous and stands up for his friends.…

It gave a breathtaking picture of the story. With an edge of your seat beginning, the video showed Rikki-Tikki being swept away by a flood. A family saves him. The two cobras, Nag and Nagaina, want to take over the garden. They plan to kill the family, and then force Rikki-Tikki to leave. This is the same problem in the other medium. Unlike the book, the movie shows the cobras having a short conversation about their plan to kill the family. After the conversation, Nag goes into the bathroom and waits. Though Nag is still awake, Rikki-Tikki leaps on top of him and tries to kill him. He is thrown around, again, but still kills Nag. The father came in with a big gun and shot Nag. Now that Nag is dead, Nagaina must kill the family herself. Rikki-Tikki stops her by killing her eggs, and taunting her with the last one. Nagaina slithers to her hole, and Rikki-Tikki is close behind. Once they both were in the hole, Rikki-Tikki kills Nagaina. This scene is very overwhelming because of the background music and image. The movie of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi has a very similar, but lively, problem, climax, and…
