The Roaring Twenties will always be remembered as the decade that was very liberal with everything the people did. There was everything that you could think of during this time like elaborate parties, flapper girls, tons of illegal drinking, and new products being created. Technology also played a key role in this decade because as the years went by so did the new inventions that were helpful in the households was here. In my opinion, the two main reasons that made the twenties pop above all the other decades was the way technology was changing how the average family was and the way women had turned into people that were able to do so much more at the end of the day. Technology was in fact changing how families lived and the women were stronger now than ever before.
When we hear the word “technology” most people think about laptops, computers, cell phones, or a tablet. Back then what this word meant to the people was that the radio was most important household item to have as it was something the entire family would be able to share together. Not just that but other inventions such as refrigerators, televisions, movies, better cars, and so many others that were a huge to have. While everything was coming out at such fast rates, people had to come up with the money to be able to buy any of these things if they wanted too. As the word spread out about everything coming out, people would have to find ways on how they could be able to own these objects . They would work very hard for a year or two just to be able to buy themselves a television or a refrigerators for the family. In the long run it would help the families because they would be able to store food in the refrigerators or spend family time surrounded by the
