Compare And Contrast Dionyysus And The Greek God

The god that is the product of a god and a mortal. The wine god Dionysus. He is the son of the king of the Greek gods, Zeus, and his mother is named Semele. He was the god of fertility and wine, later considered a patron of the arts. He invented the art of wine making, and the farming culture to tend to grapes. He has two sides to his unique godly nature. On the one hand he brings extreme and divine enjoyment. The other side of his godly nature is brutal and unthinkable rage. If he chooses Dionysus can drive a man mad. At night, his mother would always feel the presence of the sky god Zeus, and she came to love the god and his divine presence. She was pleased to be a person to love one of the gods. She loved a god, but she didn’t know what god she had felt the presence of.
Hera took action because she arrived at the pregnant Semele’s household and soon made Semele think that if she really did think that Zeus loved her, that she should ask him to see his true form. Zeus next came to her the next day, and she made him promise to grant her one wish. She went so far, that she made him swear on the Underworld River of the gods, the River Styx to make sure that no treason could possibly happen. Zeus was so madly in love with the woman, that he no choice but to agree. She then pleaded that he present his divine godly form. Zeus knew that his true form would be so powerful that any mortal that laid eyes on him in his true form, would disintegrate in front of his eyes, but since he swore on the holy river of the gods, he had no choice but to do Semele’s bidding. The very frustrated king of the gods, had no choice but to appear in his true form. As he did, Semele was burnt to a crisp, as soon as she glanced over at the sight of his all-powerful true
