Many people especially feminist woman debate saying that man and woman are equal. That was only true until Eve deceived Adam into eating the forbidden tree. Bible literally blames Eve for the fall and that she was the one who deceived Adam. God created woman by taking a rib from Adam, and knowing that Adam said “this at last is bone from my bone and flesh from my flesh! Their penalty was rest on their actions, for example, the serpent had the harsh curse, because he was the one who started all of evil act. Adam’s curse was minor comparing to Eve’s and the serpent’s curse because he was deceived by his wife. This can lead us into understanding that we are punished by how much we know and how big of a sin we committee. As regards to the Quran, the story is slightly different. The Quran does not blame Eve, it says that “the devil caused them to deflect therefrom and expelled them from the happy state.” This indicates that, they both made the mistake and received the same punishment which was they will be enemies of each other.
