1) Maybe the most evident contrast among baseball and softball is the pitching method. Baseball includes overhand tossing from a hoisted hill in a pitching circle that reaches out to a nine-foot span. Softball, then again, includes underhand pitching from a level pitching circle that stretches out to an eight-foot range.
