Additional criteria to consider:
If you select the Trait by Trait method of comparison and contrasting, your essay must contain exactly five (5) paragraphs as outlined:
Paragraph 1 – Introduction with thesis sentence
Paragraph 2 – Point A to be compared or contrasted
Paragraph 3 – Point B to be compared or contrasted
Paragraph 4 – Point C to be compared or contrasted
Paragraph 5 – Concluding Paragraph

If you select the Subject by Subject method of comparison and contrasting, your essay must contain at least four (4) paragraphs as outlined:
Paragraph 1 – Introduction with thesis sentence
Paragraph 2 – Subject A with points 1, 2, and 3 to be compared or contrasted
Paragraph 3 – Subject B with points 1, 2, and 3 to be compared or contrasted
Paragraph 4 – Concluding Paragraph
