PREFACE

As per the syllabus of Barkatullah University regarding II semester MBA, students are required to submit a project report on the topic undertaken by them or assigned by the project guide. The theoretical knowledge and classroom discussion are not sufficient for the management student. It is also important to have the practical knowledge in order to know the various fact, complexities and opportunities of the business and about its clients.

For the fulfillment of this project discussion with the employees has been done on GROUP SAVINGS LINK INSURACE SCHEME (GSLIS) of BHEL BHOPAL. Every possible effort has been done to avoid the errors and facts and principle. Still I apologize for error if any; have crept in the project unnoticed.

My project has been divided into six chapters. The first chapter deals with the research design.

The second chapter deals with the objective, function and importance of human resource management.

The third chapter includes the detail about BHEL

The fourth chapter tells about the organizational hierarchy.

The fifth chapter includes all the details regarding the GROUP SAVING LINK INSURANCE SCHEME (GSLIS)
