We are discussing about the famous and popular brand and company AMUL INDIA. AMUL is started in the year of 1946 in ANAND (GUJARAT), ANAND is the city in Gujarat and also known as home of AMUL. AMUL is started by the GCMMF (Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation) and by the Dr. Verghese Kurien. Dr. Kurien is the father of AMUL (Concept) and father of White Revolution. AMUL has provided many milk products and many other services in India and other countries in the world. AMUL use different types of strategies related with the customer’s satisfaction and their attraction. AMUL also have many milk plants in India and other countries in the world. Now-a-days AMUL is a very large organization in the food and beverages sector in India, Asia and all over the world. AMUL plays a very important role in Indian Milk Market. Customers and peoples are believed in the AMUL. So AMUL is became a successful brand in India.

Past Analysis of AMUL or History of AMUL
The full name of AMUL is Anand Milk Federation Union Limited. The word AMUL is derived from the word AMULYA, AMULYA is a Sanskrit word and its meaning is more valuable and rare. AMUL is founded in 1946, by Dr. Verghese Kurien. Dr. Verghese Kurien was the chairman and founder of Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (GCMMF). All credit goes to Dr. Verghese Kurien. He also played a very important role in the White Revolution’s of India. In 1930 there was only one dairy in India, Polson Dairy. Polson Dairy was founded in 1930. At that time Polson Dairy was very famous and popular in India between the higher class people and in the high society. Polson Dairy was also famous and popular for the exploitation of the farmers in India. Many farmers are not satisfied to the Polson dairy and they were very angry from the exploitation. At that time national leader Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel started a movement with all angry and excited farmers, and the result is AMUL founded at 14th December 1946 in Anand, Anand is a very popular and famous city in Gujarat. It is also known as Milk Capital of India. At the beginning AMUL supplied only milk and other milk related products without any distributed network in India. AMUL is started by only 250 liters of milk. At that time when AMUL was started it building collective co-operative organizations in many villages around Anand and in Gujarat. The organizations had collect milk twice in a day from the farmers or villagers and organizations paid to the formers based on the smoothness of the milk. In this process AMUL planned different types of strategies and decisions to the distribution of milk and other milk related products.
