1. Why do you think the community isolates the police?
I think some of the community isolates police officers because they do illegal things like smoking weed. People who do illegal things do not want the police involved in their lives because they fear they will get caught. The police discipline people with ticket, arrests, etc. and people do not like it and they isolate the police for these reasons as well. Finally sometimes people just angry and need someone to take it out on and the police is a good source for them to take their anger out on.
