Community Intelligence Group Analysis

Establish Tuen Mun with Community Intelligence Group was my service target in my service learning project. The Community Intelligence Group was support by Yan Oi Tong which established from 2004 and it will be dissolved at the end of 2015. The aim of the group is to promote Community Oriented Mutual Economy in the society and it was specific to Tuen Mun. Transforming the community wisdom and skill into community capital was its main concern, and also through the individual director and community service to affirm personal worth and ability to build a better community. The motto of them is “ Bring talents into full pay, benefit through exchange, make a better life”. The Intelligence Group was form by three major branches , which were second-hand store, food and drink sharing party and others organic and social events. Community Currency was permitted to use in the Intelligence Group.

My intension was to interview the members in the Intelligence Group individually and in group basis. After finished the interview , I needed to write case studies essay of development of the group. Actually, I were not only find the development of the group but also to understand the
Honestly, I think the female stereotypes still continue after joining this service learning. Although people saw women more equally in different countries, women have been regarded as the weaker with fewer rights for a long period of time and cannot change easily. I think women are also the cause of the situation and they make the gender difference be continue by themselves. They still believe that being a wife and a mother has long been regarded as the significant and profession role for them although they were afforded the right to study under the educational system and start to open their door to more career
