Effective Communication in Health & Human Services
Thesis: Communication in a health care setting is very important; it helps us to achieve the best patient provider relationship, establishing a trusting relationship. It helps the patient feel and understand that they have been well taken care of and helps them progress in everyday life and have good overall health, communication, regardless of the culture boundaries effective communication in this field helps make a good healthcare provider’s. This offers a good sense of well-being for the provider and client altogether giving people a chance to receive great healthcare, the right communication gives no room for error.

1. Great communication makes better understanding.
A. effective communication with providers offers clients in a medical visit great healthcare. This leads to surety that they have chosen the right provider and they are fully meeting the health care needs of the patient. B. Clients have a better personal feeling of well-being when they are being listen to by their medical provider reassuring that the visit it being followed through. Active therapeutic listening or communicating helps understand empathy in a situation with a client provider the trust is built off communicative relationship.

2. Making improvements in the Health Care system services. A. The healthcare system has lacked in progress, it is effectively getting better for patients the quality of care is improving providing better care and better decision making for clients. B. Offering good communication, listening and understand helps the patients learn about themselves and gives confidence in a situation. This confidence affects the people around them an offers the provider a sense of satisfaction.

3. It is important for effective communication in health care with providers. A. The importance of effective communication in health care is teaching the client about their personal health situation at any visit. This offers providers satisfaction and breaks language barriers and culture understanding what the client is expressing is important. B. The importance of the topic is to prevent misunderstanding in communication to be available to listen and hear the patients thought and help them affectively seek the right medical care. Communication opens the level of communication and offers room for understanding between patient and provider. 4. There are many specific example of application for effective communication with health care staff. A. Training in communication can help any situation and improve your communication level. I think that practicing the communicative ideas of one another builds a better level of trust and more open communication. B. Practicing in relationships and applying it our personal lives can help us build a better trust for ourselves that we are communicating with people in a positive mature direction. For the health care setting with patient provider this is essential to the program of healthcare.

5. Language barriers and problematic communication affects the treatment and culture. A. Language barriers could be a problem and the lack of effort to be concerned with someone of a different race of culture. This helps to break barriers of judgmental mindset and can be worked on in this setting. B. Language barriers get in the way of treatment for patients. Understanding a different culture helps to prevent language and culture barriers this helps communication between the patient clients more understanding.
