Communication is a connection allowing access between persons or places, through many different objects. It’s an important process of transferring information, and also plays important role in the development of a nation. Societies cannot change and develop without communication, as it is a process of social interaction through which people are influenced by ideas, attitudes, knowledge and behavior of each other.

And why we communicate? We communicate because we want to know each other, we want to find out about other’s emotions, we want to change information, or to convince others to understand our point of view, and to build relations. Communication has attained a great importance in the developmental programs. It is through the process of communication that people are made aware of the nature and objectives of the programs.

There are components which play important role in communication system. The sender, the receiver, the message, and the feedback. The sender, who is the person or entity that first sending a message with the information. And then the receiver who gets the message, tries to encode the message and prepares a proper answer which is called, the feedback. All of the component must synergized to create a good communication.

How to deliver the message so that people could understand what exactly the information is? There are two types or way on delivering the message in communication. One is by verbal, which we do it with words. The other one is nonverbal, it’s how we communicate without words but through many different objects, such as gesture, body language, facial expression, eye contact, or by writings, music, movies, etc. Somehow we didn’t realized, that in reality we use nonverbal communication most. For example, with all the high technology nowadays, we use text messenger application in our mobile phone to send information and orders. Those application allow us to do more than one thing, so that we’re able to handle multitask work....
