Common Factor That Distract The CLHS Student In Studying
Common factor that distract the CLHS student in studying.

Cruise line in Hotel Services is about giving service in a cruise ship like assisting customer. As a student that taking a course of CLHS, as an observation, I realized that the factors that distracts students are similar not only in my course also other courses.
I’ve noticed that there are 3 main factors that affect or distract the students. First, is Personal Problem like having a boyfriend/girlfriend. Some people say that they make their affairs as an inspiration but in some cases there are some people that lovelife is being distraction. Some examples of lovelife being a distraction are: sudden break up and those bf or gf that wanted you to consume time for them more than studying.
Second factor is family problems like financial problem and broken family. Financial problem somehow affects students their thinking of what will happen to them if their parents don’t have enough money to support their studies so instead of having stress in their studies, they are stress of thinking how will they continue their studies. The other one is having a broken family. Students tend to overthink example when their parents are separated and they don’t know who to choose among them.
And the most reason why student are distracted in their studies is Social Media. Social media like Facebook, twitter, YouTube, and yahoo affects students especially when the school have free Wi-Fi access because instead of listening to the lecture of the prof they are busy checking and updating their status.
Having those 3 factors are sometimes helpful like lovelife and financial problem, we can make it as inspiration not distraction, and social media being helpful in their studies in sharing lectures to one another if you somehow don’t understand the topics. We can make these 3 factors as inspiration to prove to other people that we can reach our goal or dream even if we have problems.

As a college student, I can’t help but to notice how easily distracted students can get due to social networks like Facebook and Twitter. For a fact I know I have been distracted due to social networking like Twitter. I tweet an average of over 200 tweets per day. Twitter is so distracting that hours can go by and I will not notice that it has been that long. I get so distracted by all the gossip in the media, and wondering what is going on with everyone else that by the time I log off I forgot what I had to do. Getting on Twitter everyday is a priority; it’s like a daily task that has to be accomplished. Social media has been one of the top distractions for most teenagers. We are so interested in the things that go on in the world today that the common responsibilities like homework, school, and sometimes-even family are forgotten. It seems as if the Internet has taken over our lives. Why is so distracting?…

School related issues cause so much stress for students these days. It can be caused by doing poorly in college that these students end up giving up all hope on doing something worthwhile with life, or it could be caused by just not living up to their own expectations. They thought that they would have it easy and they would have done so much better. A main cause of stress is adapting to the new life which students have suddenly fallen into. For many, it is the first time outside the nurturing and protective security of their family’s home. My parents used to provide me with all my needs and had set boundaries to live by. This no longer applies in college and one of the first tasks that students undertake is finding an identity and effectively tests the rules that were set out by their parents. Other factors tied in with stress are how people tend to deal with things, such as drinking or smoking. These are the worst ways to try relieving stress. The belief is that these are some of the most common ways to deal with stress. For example, one of my friends will go out to drink when he knows he is stressing over a paper he failed or a exam he didn’t pass. Most students do not know how to handle the stress they have so they use alcohol, tobacco, drugs or cheating as a stress reliever.…

The first reason that causes a lot of stress for college students is family pressure. The college students get pressure from their families to perform well in their studies. Moreover, some students find that the money they earn while working becomes a goal. Although these students are good in their education, they want to work and earn money for their living. It is always difficult to do two things simultaneously. They may think, “What’s the use of studies when I am earning money?” From that point, they pay a very little attention towards studies and give more importance to their job. For example, they don’t attend classes; instead they go and work for money resulting into bad grades. These students are likely to quit college due to the stress of maintaining full-time employment and keeping up with their academic assignments.…

Secondly, another factor that can be responsible for stress is relationship and peer pressure which are rarely talked about. Since most students are responsible for themselves, some tend to drift away or mix with the wrong crowd which later becomes a source of problem along the line as most face the pressure of having to experiment with things such as drugs, sexual activities and the likes which might not have originally been a pattern of life for such individuals, therefore, having to contend with this pressure can be very stressful and painstaking.…
