1. Abstract
This report is about gadget obsess children- the effect of gadget on the future generation. Base on a couple of journal for example the influence of technology on children’s health and Teens and Technology 2013. It was found out that gadget have positive and negative impact on the children and adolescent. The report provides an overview of the limited research on effect of gadgets use on children’s physical, cognitive, and social development. 2. Introduction
Nowadays, we can easily find children as young as 2 years old are playing with gadget anywhere. Today generation called “digital generation, the wired generation, electronic childhood and cyberkids”. The technology devices and gadgets include television, computer, IPad, mobile phone and video games. Children tend to be actively consuming, many technology products and gadgets’ commercials have been targeting young children and adolescents as their main market. Parent now are also using the gadgets to keep their children quiet and obedient.
Gadgets can have both positive and negative effect on the youth. The positive effect of gadgets towards the children and adolescent are helping them to simulate their imagination. Some may help to enhance listening and speaking ability. Computers also can help children and adolescents in good academic performance such as math, science, art and writing. Besides that,
