Columbus State Cafeteria
When we hear the word cafeteria , we often think about food or a place just to have your meal. Cafeteria has more meaning to it then it just being a place where there is food being served or cooked and also more to it than just eating, in Columbus State Community College. As much as some people go there to have their meals, some visit there to study, do group assignments , read or just go there to have a place to sit and relax. The inside environment of Columbus State cafeteria is very well laid out with variety of materials and also well organized. The bright beige colored tables and chairs inside the cafeteria catches the eyes of the person who come into the main entrance of the cafeteria. There are also mini restaurants inside such as pizza restaurant , Asian food restaurant and regular American burger and fries. There is a coffee stand for the coffee lovers, a bakery counter with decorated doughnuts and cookies . As one make their way out to purchase their items, they will meet two amazing lady cashiers, who are more than happy to assist them. There are only two registers there but if the line gets busy, the cashiers will assist in two sides. After a person purchase their item , they will then have the chance to eat in or out. Inside to the left is a wide space where in the front , they will be able to get spoon, forks and napkins. There are also many microwaves and dressing stand for customers. There are two tvs on the wall but only one of them has it playing a show while the other is just a display of what's going on the campus that day. There is bulliten board with various information. It's very mixed and mingled. If a person were to focus on the people only, they will be able to see who are couples, who are in groups, those people eating, those people talking. They’ll see some who are standing, walking out. Some who are throwing garbage, carrying food and or at cash register. They will see people on their laptops, phones. There are Asians , Arabs, Somalis, Caucasian , African American and hispanics separated into their own little groups. A guy is heating his food while his friends wait for him. An African American guy is sitting with his head phones on staring out of space. People are gazing at eachother, laughing, smiling , hugging. A caucasian girl is sitting across a African American guy chatting. People seem to enjoy the
