Technology: Its impact on The Human Race
Progress is growth, development and continuous improvement. the development of an individual or society in a direction considered superior to the previous level. As human beings we are driven to push forward and continuously make changes to our way of life. We were born as beings that constantly reinvent our methods of action. There are two aspects of humanity that continuously progress; society and technology. Technology is the invention of tools and techniques. Technological change is the invention of a technology, the continuous process of improving a technology and its diffusion throughout industry or society. Society is the grouping of people through social relations. Social change is the progress or alteration of social order. Technology shapes society and social change drives technology. Hand in hand, technology and society are constantly progressing because of one another. Technology has changed the way we live as a human race for a never ending extended list of reasons. From the very beginning technology was a factor in our lives; it was only until the Industrial Revolution when it began to really shape our existence. Technology is a variable in a complex factor in the history of society. In present day, it is undecided whether technology in society is a blessing or a curse. The creation and improvement of technology is seen in both a good way and bad way. It is seen in a positive way because the use of technology is used in many ways and in many places around the world. Some uses for technology is it is used in hospitals to power machines that save the lives of patients. It is used for construction to improve infrastructure and roadways and bridges to help us get to point A and point B.
