On the east side of Boston, MA, two police officers were injured in what appears to be an inadvertent event. The Commissioner of the Boston Police Department stated in a press conference that this occurrence was a tragic domestic conflict. One suspect was confirmed dead, and two other suspects were detained and taken into custody. Likewise, studies are showing that college campus shootings are more chronic as well as increasingly dangerous as of late, “with three times as many people injured or killed during the most recent five-year period, the New York City-based Citizens Crime Commission said”.
