College Admissions Essay: My Trip To The Old World
Financial
I once heard that money doesn’t buy happiness but it does help get you there. My biggest worry at this point of my life is that I have a lot of debt, mostly due to very irresponsible decisions from my part. For this very reason, I’m pursuing a career in HVAC to get a great job and earn enough to take care of those debts and not spend time worrying about just making enough to make ends meet.
Vacation
I’m a fan of history, especially European history. I enjoy reading and learning about the ancient civilizations and I love looking at national geographic photos of the vestiges of that world, in particular those awe-inspiring cathedrals and formidable castles. Once I’m doing well at my HVAC career, I will be taking a few trips to the Old World and explore all those amazing places.

As a result, I also grew up in a very similar fashion. However, after being in a church because my parents said so for most of my early teens, after some personal religious experiences, I took the personal decision of believing of my own accord and continue my relationship with God. Just recently I stopped my fellowship with the church, although my relationship with God, had been deteriorating for a bit longer than that for reasons I cannot divulge here. Suffice it to say, I believe that God is real and that the Bible is the faithful account of His attributes actions in the physical world and with humanity in particular. The founders of this great nation understood that the pursuit of happiness is a God-give right, together with liberty and life. I understand happiness to be that state of mind where I’m content with my situation and refuse to be unhappy. It will be a time when I understand that I have done everything in my power to change my situation; and everything else is out my control to do
