College Admissions Essay: How I Live My Life
An unknown inspirationist once said, “Each day is a new canvas to paint upon. Make sure your picture is full of life and happiness, and at the end of the day you don’t look at it and wish you had painted something different.” I love to live my life as such and when I stare at this blank white mask I imagine all the endless possibilities, just as in life. As I start brainstorming, many activities I am involved in come to mind. One of which is basketball. This sport has not only become one of my favorite pass times, but it has taught me countless important lessons throughout the seasons. I had the amazing opportunity to be a captain of the varsity team my final season. This helped me grow as an individual, and through the rough patches and great successes, I learned how to lead by example on and off the court. I know all of these experiences will reward me in the future.

She has the ability to turn any bad day around and always greets me with a smile. This is why I also included her in my mask. In addition, I placed other dogs on it too, because they are one of my favorite animals and just looking at pictures of dogs makes me happy. Not only are they adorable, but they hold a positive outlook on life that I believe people should have too.
At the end of the day, many traits, hobbies, and passions can describe someone. Some of mine include basketball, science, art and dogs, but one has the power to change the way the world perceives them. Each and everyday one makes choices to shape who they are, and this is the amazing part about life. Each day is a new beginning, so one needs to make sure to make choices that push them further to their goal, but nobody is perfect. If they have a bad day, the sun will still come up tomorrow just as bright and beautiful as before, full of endless opportunities, so make the most of every second in this beautiful
