Coldwater Springs Research Paper
Coldwater springs is a historic site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This site was used as a military camp and is considered sacred by local Native Americans. The land around the springs has been developed many times but is now in the process of being restored by the National Park Service. The Coldwater springs site should continue to be restored and protected from further development. Native Americans consider Coldwater springs to be a sacred place. The Dakota believe the god of water lives under the spring, so they had ceremonies in the water to honor this god.
