In a world where two nations take battle, for the top spot. The two nations were United States and Soviet Union. The battle was against capitalism and communism. Each nation had their own type of weapon. The basic weapon that was used during the cold war was mostly nuclear weapons. While the Soviet Union had been taking over other nation, the United States have been recruiting nation to defeat the Soviet Union. Even though they had more nations the Soviet Union had not taking over the world. In this world it take many years just to settle who would be the top nation. At the end of the cold war Soviet Union fell but the United States just did not win by the original goals of the Korean War, Cuban missile crisis, and McCarthyism. The two nations were side tracked by trying to get countries on their side. It was mainly for one country. That country was Korea, which became the Korean War. Korean war had a major impact on the Cold War. It had become a war to make sure that Korea would not fall into communist control. During the Korean War, Korea had been spilt in to countries. It was South and North Korea. It took 3 years to resolve the war, but the outcome was not in favor for United States. They had join the war to keep communist out of South Korea. They were successful in keeping them out, but they also tried to takeout North Korea. Which resulting china to help out the Soviet Union and North Korea. Plus both nations United States and the Soviet Union, finally compromised. It was at the 38th latitude to stop the fight. As the fighting stop, Korea was spilt into North and South Korea. Lastly the Korean War had lead for United States to lose many Americans soldiers. They had sacrificed their life to get the job done, but what ends up happing they have a compromised.
