“What is the most useful tree in the world?”
“Well, my answer is definitely a coconut tree”.
Coconut is a fruit of the coconut palm tree, its trunk is one to two feet in diameter. It has not branches but carries a crown leaves and its leaves are like a feather with many segments. Coconut tree grows wild on tropical seacoasts, and is cultivated in moist, frost-free climates, it is abundant in some Southeast Asian countries. Coconut trees are very useful because they have lots of parts which can be utilized for various purposes like commercial, domestic, and industrial, … Firstly, the trunk of the tree can be used for holding up houses as a beam even after the whole tree is dead. There are many houses in fact that are built on these strong trunks of the coconut trees. Secondly, the leaves of the tree are used to thatch roofs and to make hats, baskets, and fans. Indeed, young leaf shoots may be eaten as salad. Thirdly, the coconut’s shell is polished and ornamented into various fancy items like accessories, souvenirs and it also be used as fuel. Fourthly, the roots of coconut are commonly used in beverages and medicine. These roots are used for dye, tooth brush, and mouth wash. Moreover, the coconut itself has many uses. The nut has many different uses like animal feeds, flower, milk, chips, copra, candies, salad, and other sweet delicacies. The oil produced from the meat is useful in skin, hair and massage. The water inside coconut is the purest and it helps to balance the electrolytes in our bodies. This is a refreshing drink that makes a person feel good on drinking. These are some of the interesting uses that are got out of the coconut tree. This is the reason for this plant being grown in many households and also in various farms. “Do you know what people call the coconut tree is?”
