Cocktail Dress Definition Essay
Before you start looking for the perfect cocktail dress, to realize that there is a triangle of important qualities to find a dress: appearance, cost and time. The more you appreciate one of these (the cost in this case), the more likely that it is necessary to sacrifice the other. For example, you can quickly find a dress US $ 5 cocktails, but it can be a horrible color and style you hate. Go to a department store upper end. Discover a store like Nordstrom Rack or Fred Meyer for your dress. These stores generally offer a higher quality (and higher cost) piece of the above stores. The shopping experience is the same as it is in the low-end department stores, though often the design is not so varied. If you fit into a dress size 4-12, then you'll probably be lucky for them, but outside this range tend to have less available. You can find a cocktail dress for $ 25-50 in a department store high

Patterns can be found online or in catalogs in most sewing or craft stores. “When sewing something as complicated as a dress it will be much easier to follow a pattern than to create one, especially for a beginner” (Mentzer D, Interview).
