|INTRODUCTION |

Introduction

The coca-cola company is the world largest beverage company. In Bangladesh the coca-cola company is a non-alcoholic beverages manufacturer, distributor & marketer. Abdul Monem Group has a beverage unit to run the business of Coca-Cola in Comilla.

Origin of the Report

This report has been prepared as a part of the internship program which is an integral part of the BBA program under the Department of Marketing in the Faculty of Business Studies, Comilla University. This report on “Soft drinks of Coca-Cola: Study on AML Beverage Unit” was assigned by academic supervisor Mr. Zillur Rahman Siddique, Lecturer, Department of Marketing, Comilla University. To make it as a perfect report, I have tried my level best. I included clear data and information. I have been serving this company as an intern under Sales & Marketing Department for three months. My official supervisor was Mr. Md. Idrisur Rahman, ZSM, who helped me always to make this report perfect.

Purpose of the Study

The ultimate objectives of their business strategy are to increase volume, expand their share of worldwide nonalcoholic ready-to-drink beverage sales, maximize their long-term cash flows, create economic-value-added by improving economic profit and creating such an image of the company that the consumers start differentiating their product from other competitors.

Scope of the Study
It was tough to meet the outlet owners directly. I have to collect information by visiting the market place. I was assigned to complete different survey different time. So I contacted with them on their respective areas.

    Coca-Cola is the most popular soft-drink company in the world. It provides more than 3500 beverages from diet and regular sparking beverages. In the analysis of Coca-Cola, it is identified that it prefers mostly soft drink products and does not provide health drink products (The Coca-Cola Company, 2011). It affects market of the company because competitors provide health drinks to customers. Coca-Cola provides several beverage products but these do not consider the proper nutrition in the products, so they could affect the health of its customers. Customers could require health and balance nutrition products, so company could focus on innovative new products by maintaining good nutrition.
