Instructions:
You are required to prepare four short written statements and a brief reflection statement demonstrating your understanding and how you develop yourself as a manager and leader within your work area or in an organisation with which you are familiar. In order to pass, your assignment must address all of the assessment criteria listed under each of the Learning Outcomes.
Your assignment should be between 2,500 to 3,000 words, therefore you should aim for 625 - 750 words per statement. You should make appropriate use of tables, graphs, diagrams, Gantt charts and flowcharts and you must reference any sources you have used to complete this assignment listing reference journals, books, web sites. Your assignment must include a reference list and bibliography.
Your assignment should be saved in the format: your name followed by the unit number followed by ‘draft’ if it is a draft or ‘final’ if it is your final submission, for example: john smith 5001 draft.
You may submit a draft of your assignment once in order to receive some initial feedback from your tutor. You must submit your assignment no later than the date specified by your assessor. In the event your assignment does not meet the Chartered Management Institute’s standards, you will be given the opportunity of resubmitting it again.
