What would the earth look like if ice glaciers melted and oceans rose higher? Today, environmentalists and the common people fear of this future to come and the reason for it is climate change. Climate change is having negative impacts on our planet. Climate change can have devastating alterations to the environment, but to every problem, there is a solution. To start, climate change is the emission of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. Greenhouses gasses, such as carbon dioxide and methane, are used for a variety of uses in human life. These uses include driving our own car to places or heating up our home. Also, electricity contributes to climate change. Emissions of the gasses trap heat in the Earth’s atmosphere, which causes the planet to become warmer. Trees can take in carbon dioxide for it’s own needs and releases oxygen so that our air can be a little cleaner. Secondly, recycling can help because the recycled items take less energy to manufacture.
