In the words of Parenti, “A woman can escape from economic and gender exploitation by winning the love and career advantages offered by a rich male.” (423) This makes it easy to say that when an example of a lower-class woman and an upper-class man fall in love, they will find happiness. In today’s society, it is less likely to happen but is wished upon and sought after by women of this generation. If a lower class woman meets the right man, she will transform and make means as to fitting in. In this case, Vivian changes her ways to become a different woman. After finding Robert, Vivian transforms from one with dominantly masculine characteristics to a woman with feminine characteristics.…

As the class of 2017 we are the start of a new tree or a generation. We are the leaves of the tree. The trunk is our foundation who are our teachers or parents. And the branches of our new tree is the impact we have on society. Even though we are just one class in a billion of 2017 classes we can make a difference. We can become those leaders. We can make the next year of homecoming one no one will ever forget. We can set a new tradition for our school. A leader is a problem solver, not a finger pointer. A leader inspires others to do their best, not teach them the wrong and a leader does not tell people how to do something but simply shows them how they have done it. All of these qualities falls under leadership. The definition of leadership is “a process of social influence in which one person can enlist the aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task” now you can’t tell me Rebecca Rowland does not have those qualities. I bet she has helped every single one of us in here in some way or another. She is the person we need as our leader, as our class president. She is the person who, out of all of us, deserves to be the president the most. Academically she is outstanding! Socially she is the bomb! She gets along great with almost every one she meets. Rebecca L. Rowland should be, and needs to be your new 2013-2014 class…

The story of McDonald’s started in the early 1940s when two brothers, Dick and Mac McDonald, and Raymond Kroc founded the McDonald’s Corporation with the company motto ‘Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value’. Most of McDonald’s restaurants are operated by franchisees or by affiliates, some are operating under joint-venture agreements (www.mcdonalds.com). Nowadays McDonald’s is one of the most valuable brands globally and used to be the world’s largest restaurant chain, before Subway surpassed it in 2011 (Jargon., 2011). In our paper, we are going to focus on McDonald’s in the US, analyze the internal and external factors, which affect McDonald’s as well as its three top brand competitors. Then we propose an outlook for what the corporation should do to sustain their market leadership in the U.S. when facing the intense competition of the fast-food industry.…

Plan Strategy is a plan or future course of action that is consciously intended to deal with the situation and acts as a guideline (Mintzberg, 1987). This means that any act done purposefully and carefully to deal with a situation that may exist or may arise. Planning is something that many managers are happy with, and it 's something that comes naturally to us (Mintzberg, 1987). As such, this is the default, automatic approach that we adopt – brainstorming options and planning how to deliver them (Manktelow, 2015). Planning is an essential part of the strategy formulation process. The problem with planning, however, is that it’s not enough on its own. This is where the other four Ps come into play.…
