City and Lush Green Fields
1 Life in A Vi1lage
A village is an ideal place to live. It is the marvelous gift of nature to man. It is written in the Bible that, “God made the country and man made the town “. Life in a village is living close to nature. There are lush green fields everywhere, ad the air is fresh. Villages are free from all types of pollution that are typical of city life.
In a city there are all kinds of pollution. People have no time for interaction with their family members or neighbours. Interaction is very superficial and formal. Customs, culture and tradition can be well seen in villages. In cities people are aping the west. Several different varieties of birds are seen in villages. In the morning, one can hear cuckoos singing melodious songs. One can also enjoy the dancing of peacocks in the fields. The spread out plumage of peacocks sparkles in all seven colors as if studded with diamonds. It is a real feast to the eyes. The fruit trees are laden with parrots and parakeets. Pigeons of black and white color can be seen in great numbers.
The water from the wells and hand pumps tastes very sweet. Fruits and vegetables that ripe naturally taste very good. Everything is in the purest of form. Margo trees that grow in the yards of the houses purify the air. Lush green fields swaying with the wind delight everyone. The fragrance of wet earth, sandal wood trees and mustard flowers create a hypnotic charm. Villagers are very gentle, simple and helpful. Life in a village is joyous. PJ Harvey said, “People have a tendency to see country life through rose-colored glasses.” But, I feel that life in a village is rosy as there is peace, harmony and love everywhere.

The differences of village life compared to city life were many. Villages were smaller and they were more agricultural since farming started with them. They had small amounts of plant crops that they grow mainly for themselves and for trade with other villages. They developed pottery. They had small impacts on social, political, and economics compared to cities. Cities were much larger with many people, homes, stores, and churches. They were more modern and everything was close by that they needed. Because they were so much larger than villages they were a lot more complex. With city life rose professionals that had other occupations besides farming. There were…

In a small town, there are some values that are more important and more difficult to achieve. Such values include the enjoyment of nature, the warmth and comfort of humanity, and the inner strength of enlightenment. Becky Tijuana says that "in small town you can find your spirituality." In crowded and busy cities, nature is almost completely neglected and eliminated. Technology, industries, and tall buildings eliminate the beauty of nature to introduce the advancements of humanity. Also stress is lower in a small town it 's not as noisy, or congested, it 's just peaceful.…

The layout of the city life is much more modern in style than the farm life. Usually, the scenery in a city is of high buildings, loud, and not as green, but it does offer more conveniences. City life is better described as being at a faster pace, and having peer pressure along with work pressure. In the city, there are a big variety of universities, colleges, schools, museums, theaters, and markets. These days people usually prefer the modern lifestyle. People in the city tend to give their everyday needs the same priority as their materialistic desires. City dwellers can be easily embarrassed if they have an older car or if they have a job that pays less than their friends or relatives.…
