The knowledge, skills and behaviour require to be effective in an identified HR role divided into stages, namely: 1. professional areas

1.) Professional stage comprises of 10 different professional areas which require of any HR practitioner and most especially the two core professional area(i.e. leading and strategy) which support all human resource(HR) and learning and development(L&D) roles at all career levels and are thus positioned at the centre of the map. The other eight areas have a particular and more specialist HR focus. 1.insights, strategy and solutions
This is at the core of the HR Profession Map. It means developing actionable insights and solutions which are prioritised and tailored to a deep understanding of the business. Examples: developing insight, delivering situational HR solutions, building capability, working with agility.
2. leading HR
Provides active, insight-led leadership. Owning, shaping and driving themselves, others and activity in the organisation. Examples might be: resource planning, managing HR budgets and finance, managing HR performance with the team. Not everyone will have a role where they lead others but it is still important that they grow and develop in this area. Below are the remaining 8 professional areas:
