Cinderella Informative Speech
Have you ever had a character you looked up to in movies, shows, or real life? I have always admired Cinderella. She is a very well known Disney princess. Her movies have great life morals that we could all learn from. Even if she's a fictional character, the meaning of the story is what is important. Cinderella went through many troublesome times to get to her final destination. She could teach many things if she came to talk at our school.

Cinderella has been through many hard times. Her mother died when she was in her younger years. A couple years after her mother died, her father remarried to a wicked woman. Although he didn't know that she was wicked Cinderella figured it out rather quickly. The wicked step mother had two evil daughters. Soon after their marriage Cinderella's father died; he was her last hope for happiness. Cinderella's new so called sisters made her move out of her own room and go to the attic. The evil step mother made her clean the house all day. She was not able to go out, so that meant she didn't have a chance to have friends. Having going through all of this, she would have a lot to discuss. …show more content…
They treated her like a servant, so she had to serve them continually. She didn't have any free time for herself. Although Cinderella was treated very bad, she always obeyed no matter what. Only once did she disobey. There was one time she left their house when she wasn't supposed to. That very night at the ball she met her prince charming. She wasn't supposed to go to the ball at all, but for her it was worth all the labor after. She always made the best out of things, even though her life wasn't perfect.     Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother represents the “divine help” sent to assist the protagonist, Cinderella, in her journey to happiness and success. Her magic wand and spells make all the midnight magic possible as well as Cinderella’s happily ever after. One could say Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother also represents her mother reincarnated. “A particularly felicitous expression of feelings is to be found in "Cinderella." After her sisters go to the ball and leave her behind: "She followed them with her eyes as long as she could, and when she had lost sight of them she began to cry. Her godmother who saw her all in tears asked her what was the matter. 'I wish I could, I wish I could.' ... She was crying so much that she could not finish. The Fairy Godmother immediately creates a mother-daughter relationship with Cinderella since the real mother-like figure has been missing from Cinderella’s life for quite some time. Cinderella represents the child desiring someone who supports her with utter strength. Kindness bring you far whether its with your step-family or just in life. “Always Be Kind No Matter What - A little kindness goes a long way, and no doubt Cinderella is a kind soul. Her kindness can make her seem like a pushover (especially when her evil stepmother and stepsisters are overloading her with housework!). But it actually takes a certain quiet strength to remain as kind as she does to others, be it elderly ladies who turn out to be fairy godmothers or defenseless animals.
