Which city is better?

5 months ago, I was in my country and my parents told me that I had to make a big decision, they told me that if I wanted to be a pilot, I had to know English, I thought that it was so real. My parents suggested me to go to Cincinnati because it is a good city to learn English, but really I wanted Chicago because it is bigger and I have more things to do. Superficially, there are some similarities between Chicago and Cincinnati, but really there are a lot of differences. There are a few similar characteristics between Chicago and Cincinnati. Both Chicago and Cincinnati are located in The United States of America; Chicago is the principal city in Illinois and Cincinnati is one of the principal cities in Ohio. Chicago has a good education, and Cincinnati too. The people in Chicago are polite and kind, because they always try to help the other people similar to the people in Cincinnati. There are some differences between Chicago and Cincinnati. Chicago has cold and windy weather. However, Cincinnati has cold weather, but its not colder and windy as Chicago. But both cities have four seasons per year. Chicago has a big and beautiful downtown because there are many things to do, such as: eat in elegant restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas and many things that you could enjoy. In contrast, Cincinnati has a small and horrible downtown because we don't have anything to do there, because there are a lot of buildings and office. Chicago has good public transportation because there are a lot of buses and they have a metro. On the other hand, Cincinnati has a bad public transportation system because they only have buses, and those buses don't pass through the entire city. There are more differences between Chicago and Cincinnati but none as important as the following ones. Chicago has big and comfortable buildings different from Cincinnati, which has small and old buildings. While Chicago is expensive, Cincinnati

Chicago, also known as the Windy City, has a population of about 2 million people and is located in Illinois. There they are home to the beloved Chicago Cubs. Boston, also known as Beantown, consists of a population of nearly 600,000 people and is located in Massachusetts. They are home to the beloved Boston Red Sox. Both these cities have interesting nicknames but other interesting similarities as well. Not only are these cities gifted historically in having the oldest stadiums in the National League and American League, but they are also gifted with a dreadful curse. For Chicago their curse is a goat while for Boston their curse is the Bambino. These curses have haunted these two professional baseball teams for over a century.…

The differences are: cost of bills, variety of jobs, activities for children, etc.…

Knoxville is in the middle of a large valley in the Smokey Mountains, and Naples is in Southwest Florida. During the summer it is almost impossible to tell which is hotter, since Knoxville is in the valley it keeps heat in because of the mountains surrounding it. Although in the winter it gets to freezing temperatures while Naples gets to about fifty degrees. Occasionally it snows in Knoxville but I don’t believe it has ever snowed south of Jacksonville. Another similarity between the two places are the animals that call them home. Both cities have bears and deer, but the only major animal that is not present in the Smokies is the…

From city to city, cultures, environments, and beliefs vary immensely. A city means more than simply “a large town.” For example, my own home of Dallastown, Pennsylvania differs drastically from the much larger city of Philadelphia. Where I grew up, the white population is the overwhelming majority; Philadelphia obviously differs in this category. Cities provide a haven of interesting people from conflicting ideologies, color, and financial statuses. My home’s landscape is regularly hilly and forested, whereas Philadelphia is full of skyscrapers, streets, and city-lights. Every town and city is unique in their own sense; landmarks, culture, music, and even transportation define what that place might stand for, or signify. I’ve visited numerous…

Cities bring pride, unity, as well as consumer goods in large quantities. Living in a city will make for a simple life when compared to living in a rural area. Readily available goods, homes, and jobs can easily be found in urban areas. Cities are the first to gain new technology and fashions. They also make for a separate government and economy, which allows a citizen more say in their surroundings, taxes, and laws. Without cities, people would be scattered across the land and would not have access to as many resources.…
