Cilia's Behavior: A Case Study
FRF met with Cilias's mom at her home and went over Cilia's behavior at home, school and with friends. Mom wants the FRF to talk to cilia about the risks that she will face if she continuous hanging out with the wrong people. Mom also found out by her coworker that Cilia's sexual orientation is toward another woman. Mom is worry about this and wants Cilia to tell her and Mom stated that she will be understanding and accepting. FRF suggested mom to call DBH and make an appointment to start Cilia's therapy at DBH. Cilia has Medicaid at this moment. FRF will comeback next week to talk to Cilia.

At the time, I explained that ASH did not want to hold the client until 3/1/17 due to no longer meeting medical necessity and why they issued the 30 day letter. This caused an issue, the client cannot return home, ASH needs to dischrge, yet he cannot enroll until 3/1/17 because of the Star plus waiver. I called seeking guidance on if the waiting until the 1st of the month was an HHSC rule that could be reviewed and changed for this special case or was the rule from Medicaid.…
