2012 CIHM Student Council Constitution
PREAMBLE
We, the students of the College of International Hospitality Management, with the aid of Almighty God, desirous of establishing a democratic student council that shall unite the students of the College of International Hospitality Management, protect and preserve the rights and interests, inculcate awareness and fidelity to duties and responsibilities, encourage involvement in the university and in the society, imbued with Perpetualite core values: Character building is nation building hereby establish and promulgate this Constitution.
ARTICLE I: GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 1: This Constitution shall be known as the “Constitution of College of International Hospitality Management Student Council” (CIHM SC).
Section 2: This Constitution shall govern the College of International Hospitality Management as a whole and it’s Council in the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna.
Section 3: For purposes of this Constitution, unless the context dictates otherwise; a. “CIHM” shall mean the College of International Hospitality Management of the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna. b. “College of International Hospitality Management” or “CIHM” shall include the following departments: “Hotel and Restaurant Management” or “HRM”, “Tourism Management”, and “Nutrition and Dietetics” or “ND” c. “Society” means the duly constituted student organization of a unit that offers at least a bachelor’s program. d. “University authorities” signify that duly constituted authorities or officials of the System insofar as the University of Perpetual Help System Laguna is concerned or affected. e. “President”, “Vice-President on Internal Affairs”, “Vice-President on External Affairs”, “Secretary”, “Treasurer”, “Auditor”, “Business Manager”, “Public Relations Officer on Internal Affairs”, “Public Relations Officer on External
