Chylomicron's Role In The Dietary Process
The chylomicron has very important roles in the dietary process. This chylomicron act as the carrier of the cholesterol and also some fats (exogenous fats) to the large body veins through the lymph systems. The function of the chylomicron is to deliver the cholesterol into the liver. The other function of the chylomicron is by transfer the presence of the dietary fats to the adipose tissue and also to the muscle of the body. The VLDL, is the abbreviation of the Very Low Densities Lipoprotein. This type of lipids are synthesized in the liver. The VLDL also has the roles in dietary system like the chylomicrons but the VLDL functioning to transport the lipids to the body cells which obtained from the liver. The biosynthesis of cholesterol act to control and maintain the cholesterol level in the through the circulating of these lipoproteins. This is because the unstable amount of the cholesterol may cause the body to have many disease and may cause death. Then, the level of cholesterol is very important in controlling the proliferation of the normal tissue cells and tumors. If the proliferation of the cholesterol is abnormal, the tissue cells may having abnormal tumors which likely to become the problem to the body itself. Other than that, the significant of the cholesterol biosynthesis also helps the other body substance pathways, such as the DNA synthetic pathway. For example, the activation of the G-proteins has very common linkage to the cholesterol synthesis as this biosynthesis will required for the activation of the proteins (G-protein). In addition, the linkage between these two pathways also involve in the activation of the ras oncoprotein P21 via the transduction pathways. Besides that, the cholesterol biosynthesis also importance for the treatment of the cancer. In some types of cancer, the presence of ras gene, generally is mutated. The activation of the P21 may cause by the increase of the GTP from the mutation. The stimulation of the cholesterol also may aided the activation of the P21 through the continuous farnesylation.
