I plan on gaining life skills in human services in order for me to be successful I must the basics plus more to become a great employee. I have a few transferred credits but they weren’t compatible to my major at all, but they came in hand because I finished my degree sooner than I thought.

3. Think back to the jobs that you searched in Unit 2 and the goals that you created for yourself in Unit 3. How will your knowledge from the jobs that you researched and the courses that you are selecting, as well as your knowledge about the human services field impact your career and educational goals? It will impact my goals in a positive way, because it has given me a different route on what I wanted to do as a career. But Human Services has given me a new outlook on what I rather do in this particular field.

The new community college for full-time students will not provide a degree in all areas, “All first-year students would be required to take a predetermined core curriculum and would then be limited to their choice of about 12 majors” (Moltz, 2009). The majors that were proposed will be in pre-career fields, which will be designed to assist students with transferability.
