Chris Kyle was an author and former Navy Seal, he joined the Navy Seals atthe age of 24. He became well known after the release of the movie AmericanSniper released December, 24 2014. Chris was born April 8, 1974 in Odessa, TX.He died February 2, 2013 in Erath County, Texas. The cause of death was Ballistictrauma, he was going out shooting with a colleague Chad Littlefield at a shootingrange outside of Fort Worth, Texas both men were killed by an ex-Marine whohad a long history of mental illness. His name is Eddie Ray Routh he was foundguilty and received life without parole in the murder of Chris Kyle and ChadLittlefield.During Chris’s early life he was the son of a church deacon. Chris’s dadname is Wayne Kenneth Kyle moms name is Deby Lynn Mercer .Chris and hisfamily lived on cattle ranch in a rural part of Texas.     Clint Eastwood doesn’t deal in subtlety here; the classic advice of ‘show, don’t tell’ is completely disregarded. A doctor, informing Kyle ‘Wow, your blood pressure is really high’ is laughable in execution and an incredibly clumsy way to get the character’s PTSD across; as is a TV screen overlaid by gunfire, or Kyle’s rage at a broadcasted 9/11 attack (which almost reaches Jon Voight-levels of overblown disgust). This lack of subtlety exemplifies how poorly-written and portrayed Bradley Cooper’s character is: Cooper’s does his best to present Kyle with the script he’s been given, and he does a fine job (without ever being deserving of that Oscar nomination), but Chris Kyle is a despicable human being who felt no remorse for his actions overseas, and Eastwood chooses to neglect this fact; skirting on an ‘American Hero’ interpretation before confirming it just before the ending credits.
