space was something Canadians feel glory in. Canadians are able to revel in the all-Canadian victory allowing them to feel proud in being citizens of the nation. This notable Canadian success that is now attached with Hadfield's name allows his triumph to outshine any other space accomplishments. Secondly, Chris Hadfield became the first Canadian man to direct the International Space Station, making Canada proud by proving that Canada is worthy of being a country involved in space exploration.
