Choosing the Best Career
Growing up we pretends to be doctors, lawyers, rock stars, hair stylists, animal trainer, etc. All we think about is having a great career and making lots of money. We really don’t think about how important a career is we just think about the fun stuff. That usually changes overtime as we continue to grow up and go through school. When I was growing up I only wanted to be one thing and that is a doctor. I just don’t want to be any doctor I want to be a pediatrician. A pediatrician is a doctor who attends to the medical care of babies, children, adolescence, and young adults. I haven’t changed that choice since I was old enough to understand what they do. I love children so having that job would mean the world to me.
At first I only wanted to do it because it was a doctor and they make a lot of money but now it means so much more to me. When choosing a career we have to choose what’s right for us. You can’t say you want to be a teacher and you don’t like kids that are not a good idea. I think about the pros and cons all the time. Well of course we could be anything we want to be if we put our minds to it but it still has pros and cons to it. The pros are that I will be doing something I love and helping kids. The cons would be tending school for a long period of time
and the student loans. I don’t have a college fund or the money to go to medical school so working hard and saving is very important. We have to invest big time when it’s something we really want to do. Usually once someone gets to college their studies change and so does their career well not me.
Focusing on your studies and being serious is very important also. We can’t play around when it comes to making something of our lives. Usually we don’t pick something that someone told us to pick but we choose something that we know in our heart that’s what we want to do. You have some people parents...
