Children In Poverty

It does appear that growing up in poverty places children, especially young children, at a high risk of facing cognitive, social, emotional problems. Other challenges of poverty facing young children today involves educational attainment, health, nutrition, public safety, and housing problems. I have noticed that the health of a child faced with poverty is much lower than a child who is living in healthy conditions. This could possibly stem from poor nutrition and lack of medical care. Not to mention, children living in poverty tends to suffer from behavioral problems. I have personally observed these behavioral problems leading to poor decision making.
