My Childhood memory
Every kid has there own special memory in their life that they always look back at and remember or constantly thinking about. Most kids in their life enjoy that for the rest of their life and tell everyone about because chances are it makes them very happy. This memory all started when it was a warm summer night and my dad came home saying he had a surprise and it was tickets to Hawaii. My whole family was extremely happy. It was the summer of 2010 when we left at 3:30 am to leave for Los Angeles International airport. It was summer so it wasn’t so cold. So my family and I got in the car and went. We arrived super early at the airport because we had to boarding time was at 6:30 and my dad always wants us to be there early just in case we have an emergency. So as soon as we got on the plane we ate a small breakfast that was actually good for airplane food. As soon as I got on the plane I fell asleep I was super tired and then my dad moved me so I awoke telling me that we be arriving in Hawaii in 15 min. I was super curious to see what it was like because I have always hard it was amazing sites and great weather. We landed and got out of the plane and headed to our cab driver that took us to the nicest hotel I have ever seen in my entire life. Waterfalls everywhere with people greeting you to the hotel giving you flowers and chocolates of all kind. This was just the beginning we walked into the huge hotel, checked in and had many people carrying our bags. We walked into our big hotel room set our bags down and then the people carrying our bags shut the doors. My family started asking my dad what we were going to do next while my family was having this conversation I walked over to the window open the curtains and there is a huge pool with massive water slides and huge wave pool. I knew my brother and sister would love to go to that same with my parents. So next thing I know I’m going down a big slide with my brother and were both

“Why are you even bothering? You’re too stupid to read that, let alone understand it.” This phrase, and many like it, was all I heard from my biological father as I was growing up. I was one of the many unlucky children that grew up with an abusive parent. My biological father hit me, belittled me and much, much more. Yes, I am angry at him, but in a cruel round-a-bout way, my father helped me become the intelligent woman I am today.…

    Childhood Innocence

I have checked all over the internet for a direct definition of childhood innocence, however even the Merriam-Webster dictionary does not have a definition of childhood innocence. I guess you could look up the two words separately and link the definition together. Childhood is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as “the state or period of being a child”. Innocence is defined as “the state of being not guilty of a crime or other wrong act”. So childhood innocence could mean the state of being a child without being guilty of a crime or wrong act. When thinking of and defining childhood innocence, one may believe it’s a state of being carefree, pure of heart, and most importantly its very fragile. Childhood innocence is inspirational and should be protected from evils that surround it because it easily taken away.…

When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. What is childhood? According to science, childhood is “the stage before puberty” or, to be more specific, “the state of a child between infancy and adulthood.” But childhood is so much more than a concrete reality defined by literal terms. It is an abstract concept. If, right now, I say that I have never ever ever had a Tamagotchi or played Mario Brothers – now, I know that you’re all thinking, “Wow, that girl has no childhood!” And that time when you found out that Piglet is male and Tweety Bird is male and Blue is female, you think, “My whole childhood was a lie.” Get it? CHILDHOOD. Childhood is not just some dictionary term for us. It is an important part of our lives. It’s that time of magic, wonder, and imagination – that time when everything felt just about right.…

One of my most special experiences is the time I graduated from high school. Those moments in high school were so special to me, when I remember them it makes me happy. I won't ever forget these moments in my whole life. They are unforgettable times with family and friends on an important day to me. I remember before we graduated, my classmates and I went to Gulf Shores, Alabama, here in Alabama it’s the prime hangout for spring break and summertime. It was a wonderful experience because we enjoyed and learned about life at the coast. We all skipped classes that day to visit all the local hangouts on the beach, just spend one last time together before college. We swam at the beaches for one whole day. We enjoyed it a lot.…

It is obvious that all of our childhood memories are not accidental… When you are a child ever scent, every sound, every move, every toy, the first day of school, the first kiss, the first step..Everything together makes what is the personality of a man. All these are pieces of one whole entity. I was sitting and thinking –which of the memories I have is the brightest and most emotional for me….Is it the day when I stayed home alone for the first time? Is it the day when I was so disappointed with the Christmas gift I got? Or maybe when I broke grandma’s favorite vase and put it back together with glue? I was thinking about good memories and bad memories…moments of tears and moments of innocent joy. From one memory to another my heart started to feel strange and I felt really strange – like I was in a completely another dimension which exists only in my head. And then..BANG! I got it so clear that I started shivering……

When I started pre-school, I found it difficult to speak English because I spoke Chinese at home. I was distracted and frightened when I attended school in our Los Angeles neighborhood, and crime was a constant concern for us. It worried my parents to see that I was losing interest in school, so they moved me to Chino Hills after I finished 7th grade to live with my sisters, hoping that the environment would be a better place for me. The different atmosphere I was in changed my perspective on education. The students in Chino Hills are very competitive in their academic pursuits which motivated me to try harder and work up to my potential. The realization that a different environment can make a huge difference brought much confidence to me; I began developing better judgment and making better decisions toward my education.…

Have you ever gone on a vacation so great and enjoyable that you will never forget it? It all started in the summer of 2016 when my parents told my sisters and I that we are going to Disney World. They said that we would be going in a van with my cousin Fillip’s family. We were so ecstatic that we could not wait for the day to come. Then, when the day was upon us, I was at basketball practice in Sportsplex and when my mom picked me up, we got home and immediately prepared to leave because Fillip and his family was already there. Once the trunk of the van was packed with all of our belongings, the ten of us got in and left for Florida. Lucky for us, there were eleven seats in the van so it wasn’t very crowded. Fillip and I were the luckiest…
