Child Soldiers In War Essay
An epidemic in the world today is child soldiers. The problem with this is that they are far too young to be in war. People are debating back and forth on whether child soldiers should be forgiven for their war crimes. In certain cases the children should be given amnesty but not in all cases. The children should be given amnesty if they are forced into army, if they did not know any better, and if they were in a very tough situation. However, I can see why some people think they should not be granted amnesty. Let's get right into it.

These children get offered things that they could never afford on their own. In order to get these things they have to comply with the officer’s orders. Most of the time the officers force the kids to commit the war crimes. These kids know no better than to fulfill these orders. The children think they are doing no wrong.
Some people may argue that these kids should be held fully accountable and be punished for their war crimes. I can see why people think that, and in certain situations I think they should. If someone commits a war crime like rape, they should be punished because I doubt they were forced to do that. I think all child soldiers should at least have to go to rehab for 3 months. In some cases they should be punished but not in all situations.
Because of all the war and terror in today's society, some counties have to resort to child soldiers. Some people believe that these children should be punished for all their war crimes.
