Chick-Fil-A Personal Analysis
I spent 36 hours on my computer last weekend. I could tell you what I tell my mom “I was writing my essay the whole time”, but in reality I was just playing video games. I have routinely been told throughout my high school and college careers that I lack the work ethic to succeed, but I have the work ethic to succeed in which I am motivated succeed at. I am limited by many of the same things as other people: money, position, and geography. When motivated, I solve these problems, such as last year when I worked at Dunkin Donuts for several months to accrue some emergency money for college and some spending money so I could get Chick-Fil-A everyday. Because I got an immediate reward I kept working, but I don’t always have that immediate reward. …show more content…
But, I have been working with computers all my life. When I first started it was just playing League of Legends with my friends after school. I quickly took a liking to it because every time another player would try to insult me I could instantly respond with a sarcastic response which would have gotten me beaten up in real life. As I continued hanging out with my friends I made new friends online, slowly my friends fell away and my group of friends online flourished. With all these new people I was meeting though their were bad apples. Such as the two guys who got my friends IP address and DoSed1 him for a week. Luckily my friend got in contact with us through the computers at his school and we were able to help him trace the IP address of the people DoSing him and he filed a police report. I also found a market for hacked clients in games such as CsGo and Minecraft. After teaching myself java I was able to make some money selling clients that woud help the user aim their cursor at the head of the enemy player model helping them to in games. All the while hanging out with my friends and meeting new people through the games I play. I was motivated to learn computers because of my friends and now due to my comfort online I am motivated to do little

It was then that I set for myself the goal that I would teach myself everything and anything about computers and how they were configured Although I formally started studying computer sciences when I was in high school, I began my informal studies when I was merely 12 . However, I had always been fascinated by numbers and was naturally apt at performing computations in my head. As such, I found the laws and computations performed in science very logical and as such pursued physics and chemistry during these years. This further chiseled my analytical and evaluation skills. Although I have grown older, my interest in computers and computing has not faded I have never allowed it to be restricted to classrooms and school life.
