Heluim oxygen therapy (He) is second only to hydrogen as the lightest of gases. It has a density at STPD of 0.1785g/l. Heluim is odorless, tasteless, and nonflammable.Although it is a good conductor of heat. (Egans', p. 846) sound and electricity, but poor soluble in water. He can not support life. If breathing 100% of He it would cause suffocation and death.
