Cheerleading Argumentative Essay
Cheerleading is a hard sport believe it or not, the drama and practices are hard enough but trying to juggle all of that with getting good grades and still hanging out with friends is insane, how I ended up winning all state cheerleader and helping my team become our regionals and state champions is still hard for me to comprehend. All of this started the beginning of my sophomore year of high school when I was walking home one day after school and a bright idea popped into my head “cheer uniforms are so cute!” so I turned around and walked back into the school to sign my name on the application list for our BHS football cheer. after all of the hard work and energy I placed into cheer we didn't win… We didn't even place. Done with getting below standard grades and having a constant lack of sleep, I quit cheer for my Junior year only helping out with the football girls occasionally. When Senior year rolled around the football cheerleaders didn't have anyone to help them lead practices and learn dances so I would spend all of my free time with them, while at the same time going to cross country practice and running races every Saturday and then running over to the football field to cheer for a whole game. That was exhausting, but I was a senior so I wanted to have the best senior year possible. Basketball cheer came around and it was basically a repeat of sophomore year except we tried harder and focused more, we pulled through! We took regionals by a storm by getting the title of regionals champs and then went to state with confidence. We performed our dance did our cheer and hoped for the best… We got state champions! Oh but thats not it, we got grand champions. That basically means we won all of the devisions of cheer, and those are 1A, 2A, 3A (thats us), and 4A. I got onto the all cheer team (a team of the best cheerleaders from all of the school in Alaska) and the whole
