The podcast by Chat Williams was very informative. I agree with his theory of bringing families together to participate in exercises and developing them for the better. Reason being, when it comes to children’s health, parents are their child first line of defense to prevent them from being inactive physically fit. In today’s society, I think it is challenging for parents to be involved in their children’s health. In several households, parents are consumed with working in order to provide stability for their family. By the time they clock out from work, participating in sports with their child is probably one of the last things they want to do. Furthermore, after a long day of working, parents may not even in cook for their family. Instead, they will pick up fast food to service to their family. These two …show more content…
They will become faster, stronger, build endurance, and gain more agility. I can attest to the more you workout or play sports you will reaping the benefits from it. Currently, I have been on a running workout plan for five weeks and I have started seeing results. I am on this workout plan, because I will like to be able to run a moderate pace five miles with ease. With this customized workout plan, I run six times a week, no more than four miles every other day and no more three miles on the days I do not run four miles. As my weeks progress, I will build up to run no more than six miles twice a week. Along with my workout plan, I have been highly engaged in the gym performing leg exercises to build up my leg muscles for running followed by sprints and running up and down the bleachers. Over the course of these last few weeks, I was amazed as of how much my motor skills have improved. I have become stronger and I have more endurance. Furthermore, I am eating healthier and I have more energy throughout the
