“Personality is to man what perfume is to a flower,” Charles Schwab wisely proclaimed. God grants each individual a personality. One’s personality distinguishes him from others. It affects how he behaves, thinks, and feels. To form the body of Christ, God creates distinct personalities. Sadly, not all personality traits glorify the Lord. I display my personality through a pleasant memory, a foolish behavior, and a lesson learned. While preaching a sermonette last year, I revealed my personality. Sharing the good news filled me with joy. I enjoyed presenting the sermonette while my peers respectfully listened. I thoroughly delighted speaking in front of a group. As I spoke, I learned to trust God fully. With Christ on my side, I can conquer

Personality influences how people think, feel, respond, judge, and their well-being and life decisions. Therefore, personality develops the character traits of individuals. As written by Twenge and Zhang (309) based on two meta-analyses carried out on young Americans, a majority of them believe that their lives are subject to forces outside their efforts. The subjects of this study, who were mostly college students and young children between the ages of nine and 14, showed that for most people, personality predetermines how they interact with others around them. The role of personality in shaping individuals' lives has been considered by several scholars, who believe that people are driven by their personality, which, in turn, shapes their…

Personality is made up of the individual’s characteristic and patterns of opinions, judgment, and behaviours in which make a person unique i.e. shy, outgoing, aggressive, laid back. Personality also comes from within the individual (such as their back ground or parents) and remains fairly consistent throughout life, for example a person with a very aggressive and up front personality never real changes from a young age though to old age, he may be calmer at times however in certain situations his aggressive personality will come out, i.e. on a rugby pitch. All individuals are unique to every other human, however every individual’s personality has comparison between each other, and they just react in different ways using the same characteristics as one another.…

The two topics that I plan to discuss in the following essay are as follows: (1) The importance of personal testimony in evangelism and (2) The transforming power of Christ. The reasons I have chosen these two topics is because of (a) the correlation between the two in my own life and (b) because of the personal knowledge that I feel I have gained on them while taking this class. My hopes are that by the end of this essay I will have demonstrated that I have a functional and usable comprehension of these topics that I will be able to use throughout my life.…

When I was still in high school, I felt God calling me to preach. Writing sermons is a lot easier for me than it is writing about anything else. When I start a sermon, I start with a scripture. I think about it and wonder what God is trying to tell me through it. By writing it down, I can decide how to best explain the scripture to others as it has been revealed to me.…

Five years ago, I never would of guessed that I would be standing in front of a group of eighth graders about to tell them my life journey with God. I volunteered with my youth group to help with the St. Joseph Confirmation retreat. My youth minister asked me to give a witness on my relationship with God and how it started. I had no clue where to start, but eventually decided it was my own Confirmation retreat that inspired me to strengthen my relationship with God. It was night two of the retreat and right before adoration. Although I was shaking the entire time, I finished my talk, without anything bad happening, and afterwards, I felt accomplished. I overcame my fear of talking in front of a group.…

The company that I work for actually uses a personality test and some well qualified people have not been hired because of the results of the personality test. Our character is our greatest quality. “Personality tests are structured psychological tests that use formal methods of assessing personality.”(Nevid, 2015) God created man in His image, after His likeness. Genesis 1:26 ESV “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness, And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Since we are made in the image of God, we have a responsibility to maintain our character. We are to become more and more like…

There are a large number of people who believe that personality helps to show them their place in life. This states that depending on how someone lives their life, what decisions they make, results in what kind of future they will have.
