What characteristics make these essays expository?

What makes this expository essays is that they both either share examples, use evidence, facts to explain concept.

Identify the type of organization each author used to develop the essay(topic, time order, space order, or informative process)

The organization of the author used for the essay “A Soul as Free as the Air” was Time Order.

Time order: An expository essay developed by time order involves the sequential or chronological organization of information from one time period to another. It arranges the times sequently and gives the information of the year it happen from time period to another.

The type of organization the author used for the essay"Fishing Florida Online Magazine-How to clean a fish ” was the informative process.

Informative Process: This essay developed informative process by showing the steps of how to do something and the different kinds of fish. This essay involves a step-by-step process, with steps arranged in their natural order, for example, How to bake a cake. It just gives directions of how to do anything you are going to do step by step.

Why do you think each author chose that type of organization for his or her essay?

In my beliefs i think the author of "A Soul as Free as the Air" choose time order organization, because it best fit to her essay she was going to write. She had to give us the information and time period to another it happen.

I think that the author of "Fishing Florida Online Magazine-How to clean a fish" chose the informative process of organization for the essay because due to the type of information it contained the informative process was the best way to explain the examples and opinions.
